$10K to win for Mods/$2500 for Limiteds at Enid Speedway ParkFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - June 23, 2008 - Midwest City, Oklahoma - Enid Speedway Park in Enid, Oklahoma has announced the rules and payout for their 2008 Modified Summer Nationals, which will take place Friday through Sunday, August 1-3, 2008. The Sunday afternoon modified feature finale will pay $10,000 to win and $1000 just to start. Limited modifieds will also be in competition with their feature finale paying $2500 to win, $500 to start. The format for the 2008 Summer Modified Nationals will consist heat races, consolation features and full features on Friday and Saturday night with the top five from Friday night making up the inside row of Sunday afternoons feature. The top five from Saturday nights feature will make up the outside row of Sunday afternoons feature. Sunday afternoon will drivers compete in last chance qualifiers to fill out the balance of the twenty-four car field. Sunday afternoons "B" feature will pay $500 to those drivers who make the start but do not transfer to the feature finale. The "C" feature will pay $250 to start for non-qualifiers only. Entry fee is $250 for the modifieds and there is no discount for early entry. However, in order to reserve your car number, it is suggested to enter early as numbers will be available on a first come, first serve basis. Limited modified entry fee is $150. There will be an open practice session on Thursday night, July 31 at 7:00 PM. Friday and Saturday night action gets underway at 7:00 PM with pit gates opening at 3:00 PM. Pit gates will open at 11:00 AM on Sunday with racing slated to start at 2:00 PM.
