Well since Ohio rained out, I drove 265 miles to go to the closest weekly sprint car to me, Butler Battlegrounds. Since, I was almost to Waynesfield when my favorite hair style specialist called me and said Waynesfield was rained out, I found out Butler was still on. So off we went. 35 cars, pretty decent race. Track was real choppy but no one got upside down the entire night. Of course the money came back to OHIO tonight. We is what I got, not official by any means....

Darren Long took the lead from Dustin Dagget on lap 14, from his 8th place starting spot, on went on to win the 20 lapper. Dagget took the lead on lap 4 from Downtown Davey Brown.

Mike Brecht
Dain Naida
Shelby Bilton
Then dont have the rest.
Tim Allison pulled off on lap 6. Ben Rutan had a strong run a going, up to 3rd or 4th and pulled in with a handful of laps to go. JR Stewart was running top 5 and spun on lap 7 and could never bounce his way back to the front.
Side note, the SOD redraw is different and pretty cool. They do passing points, top 16 to A. Then the top 8 in points, I think the lowest one first, i believe is correct, draws a number and picks one of the other 8 drivers to pass it on to, knowing what the number is. Of course Allison and Long were giving 7th and 8th making it very interesting.

Life's short, race hard!!!
