That is what a dirt track is for, flying dirt on a real racetrack.

LOL...what's a fake racetrack?
I just think it's funny since everyone was talking about how wet the track was a couple of weeks ago, and now it's done a complete 360.

A real racetrack is a dirt track, not that paved stuff. My apologizes to those at Red River Speedway in Wichita Falls by the way. I plan on making it there one day this race season.
Thanks for the correction, I never heard them mention that.

correction there mr. moderator
MARK BRILL won the Pro Stock A Main. James Beane went below the cone on the last restart. there was confusion among officials after the pro stock a main - - - but I went down to the office afterwards seeking clarification.............and they said the official run down was Brill, S. Smith, and then Beane.
apparently they docked Beane to 3rd for going below the cone - is what Lanny and another lady in the office said. Personally - I think it is the right call and kudos to them for getting it right......but for fantasy league purposes - the office said it was 95, 14, 12$
actually I thought the race was awesome tonight. dry dusty track but it was really racy. lots of side by side racing excpet in the factory stock feature - which we thought looked more like an extended hot lap session. they are horrible. but the other 3 classes were great all night. Burns really had that thing hooked on the top before the rubber got laid - once it did some of the others followed. I thought it was awesome to see Larry Neighbors back out there. my dad did too - aside from 29 being his favorite - he pulled in the fantasy win for him too. as they were pushing neighbors back to the pits after weighing in - all of the north grandstand erupted in boos. I aint a fan either but piss on that - its great to have another car in the pits - and a very very good one at that.

i bet the track will be heavily watered next week - with 4 classes and factory stocks not being one of em - oh and 2 champ sprint A Mains to boot. O figure he'll put an extra dose or 2 on the track. I dont care if it is dry or tacky. I just dont like seeing the rutted tracks that tear up the cars real bad - and I like to see passing.
Other than a couple nights there about 6 weeks ago or so - the track has been GREAT. in fact - once they got the pro stock call right tonight I couldn;t find anything to bitch about at all lol. hell I thought it was a great night at the track. the track was good - the car count was down a bit but there were some new cars out there too - or ones that at leats dont come foten (like cary and the 55) - or in short - the pros, mods, and sprints were all great and put on a great show. i wont actually complain abotu car count though - sfs still does better than any other track in the state in that regard - the factory stock is the only thing low. i do wonder why lanny doesn't just go ahead and add sport mods right now though. like whenever the factory are on the schedule - run them too. I bet within a few weeks they'd have a full field.
well no matter - it was a good race tonight. and I'm freakin excited about the next 2 weeks.

Uh oh...I didn't think you would actually say it, but at least you apologised. I do agree with you...dirt is better than that paved stuff when it comes to racing. As for driving my personal car...I prefer the pavement LOL.

Good night of racing! The track was great tonight! Who cares about the dust! Burns may have found the high side to get the win but if I'm not mistaken I believe Gastineau was the one who found it first... not that it really matters. Ha ha.

Did yall see what happened to Whit? I couldnt see it from the north end. Did he just get to high on the restart and sideswipe the frontstretch wall, or did he do something down by the exit ramp, or ? I heard somebody say something about hitting it head on. I talked to Steve and he said he was ok, but I couldnt see what happened.
Also, since I dint see what started it, what was yalls take on the incident between Lee and Bruce? Probably just a racin thing?? I know this probably shouldnt be argued on here as these are two tidbitters, but I know that Bruce was not a happy camper after the incident. And Michelle was actually an innocent bystander for once? Who da thunk?

D.T. Cowboys - I hope no one sees that as strating anything. you asked some good questions in a respectul way.
so with that in mind p cause I dont want to start anything either. I saw the Gastineau incident. we thought the 2 was just tryin to get a good run - but you knew that the 18 was gonna pass the cone and go low - and the 2 was gonna go high. just as burns was doing on the restarts too. it looked like the 2 just mis-timed it and didnt quite clear the 18 - and jumped his right rear and went into the wall. unfortunate for the 2 car - - - as he woulda been right up there with Burns and DJ.
I saw the 61L and 15 incident in the heat - but did not see the incident in the feature you are referring to in the feature.
