I have been contacted by somebody in Tulsa that has also talked to drivers on the eastern side of the state about an Oklahoma track only modified series and he called to see what I have lined up so not to butt heads.

Our preliminary talks have concluded we will not compete against each other but will instead both join forces and as it stands now there looks to be a Oklahoma Modified series in 2009.

He has contacted promoters on that side of the state and we (I) only need to contact Meeker, Ada, Ardmore and Elk City and we should be set. This person is going to try to talk to Lanny about SFS and Lawton.

There are some big modified names on that side of the state that are interested but I will not list them as of now. I have received positive emails from modified drivers in this area, as well as a new parts dealer, so we look to be set on this end.

As of right now the pay is $1000 to win and $150 to start but THAT COULD CHANGE for the bottom pay.

All this will be discussed sometimes next week as he is going to get with his business partner to make sure they are going to get into the modified portion of racing and I could be meeting them both next week. We hope to have about 10-12 races.

It appears that if this series comes about "Brand Racing Motors" would like to be an associate sponsor. I didn't even have to ask him he offered his help. David your on to something here, I really am looking forward to what info you find out next week at your meeting. Please keep us updated on any info you recieve. I talked with Bobby Smith Jr. last nite and he's intrested in running a series like this..

There could be another developement later this week as I have things and directions I think I need to stop and really think about. There might be another person to talk to concerning this....More later as I am beat tired. Those dayum late models wore me out tonight at Lucas Oil.
