A friend has started a new website, dedicated to dirt track racing on a truly grass-roots level. Basically, the premise is that NASCAR gets so much publicity, as do drivers in the WoO and other big organizations. He wants to recognize the local drivers, tracks, fans, crew members, etc.; those who never see their name in the local paper, much less SC&M or Flat Out.

Ron has been writing for dirt track magazines for quite awhile, and even talked me into doin so. It's just starting, but still a good place to visit and bookmark. And if you can contribute in any way, please do so. He is taking videos, audio clips, stories and what have you from anyone who wants to send them to him.
