Wasn't there an NCRA show at Bellville last night? If so, does anyone have any results?

They had 24 cars.
Billy Alley won, JD Johnson got second and it was either Derek Drown third and Peters fourth or Peters third and Drown fourth. Tony Bruce got around eighth while Brian Brown blew a motor. Alley led all 20 laps - no big mishaps. Alley makes the sixth different NCRA sprint feature winner in six events held so far in 2008.
More later.

1 - Billy Alley
2 - J.D. Johnson
3 - Don Droud, Jr.
Crap, I was there and can't remember the top 5. The track was super fast all night. No passing at all. The only race was at the start when Alley and Johnson raced side by side for about 2 laps until Billy got the lead. The race was all over. On lap nine, things were about to get exciting when Alley went to lap some cars. The lap cars were running 2 and 3 wide so it could have gotten good, depending on how Alley handled the lap cars but a yellow came out and it was over. Brian Brown dropped out with a broken spark plug while running a close 3rd. All-in-all, better than staying home.
David beat me to it....4th was Drown and 5th was Peters.

Nice work William.
Where did Brown start? He is off to a forgettable start this year.

Brown started outside of row 2. Something hit a spark plug and broke it and he was done for the night.

what is wrong with the racetracks? seems like there has not been much passing all year. the front row starters have won a majority of the races. pretty boring for the fans. not real great for the winners resume either. not to challenging winning from the front row.

Dereck Drown. He is driving the Danny King owned car.Hopefully he is NOT related to the penis head Droud.
