i think it highlights a very valid question. how prevalent is racism or sexism in auto racing? I think racism is much much much more prevalent than sexism. and i think it is a much worse problem than everyone thinks or fans want to admit. but what do ya'll think? respectfully?

thought i'd wait to give my thought. i think whether she is telling the truth or not - there are 225 million reasons why she wont win. i think 225 million was just to grab huge headlines. which - it worked. its probably more to cast nascar in a really negative light - while at the same time her lawyers possibly increasing the amount to be settled out of court - if that indeed happens. either way - it sure does cast nascar in a really bad light. i bet anyone associated with nascar will have to say the words - no comment - about 500 times between now and when it is resolved. i mean what else could they say?
and thats my take - whether or not she is telling the truth - 225 million dollars would suggest her motives. but then again - her quotes are awfully descriptive. this will be a circus as it plays out - it will be like any other case - like Kobe Bryant a few years ago, roger clemens now - i mean what sport hasn't had this. nascar was one of the few - so much for that.

Personally; I have not seen racism,or sexism a problem at any track. There are few, but not enough to be problematic. If the girl wins Cheese21 needs to get in touch with her to see if she could help with his hurt motor fund.

Calling my lawyer tomorrow. I get sexism and racism at work every day. Most of it comes in the first phone call.
