how bittersweet it would be for steve kinser if his boy is punted and TK put in the car. more bitter than sweet. by all rights - its what should happen - and you gotta wonder with such problems with the car - would TK even want a part of it? you would think so - but if that car dont run and they cant get it to - it would be better for him to remain a TRUE outlaw in that 10 car.

now heres a subject that has been beat to death so far this year. Kraig isn't winning but his teammate is. it's either the driver or the crew chief. none of us pay the bills. Tony does. and out of respect for Steve i doubt Tony will fire Kraig. and as far as the sponsors go. they are on the Tony Stewart car. the average Joe in the stands doesn't care where the car is in the points they just hear the "Tony Stewart Racing" and the "Bass Pro Shops" etc. i saw this in person last year. I-55 raceway i took someone to the track for their first race. they liked McMahan just because it was the Tony Stewart/Bass Pro/Chevy car. and McMahan was off. he wasn't impressive at all early in the night. and i bet Kraig is still selling more shirts the drivers like Dollansky (who has 2 wins and is currently 3rd) because of this too.

yeah but how many more shirts would a driver of the 20 car sell if he was winning? he could spend half the money to get the same B Feature result.

Let's take the motor. When I talked to Shaver, he didn't want any new business. He has plenty. I've read where Ron is glad that Kistler is doing the motors for the 20 and that their motors weren't much different.
The chassis, it's pretty close too.
Take a look at the nut behind the wheel or the one turning the wrenches, or both.

According to the KK drivers card I got this weekend, the chassis they are running is MAXIM. So, the chassis deal has been changed since last season.

There are not many "secrets" in setting up a sprint car. It's a sprint car, not a Formula 1 car, they're not that complicated. For the most part, the deciding factor is a good base setup and then the ability to make adjustments as the night goes on for the driver's driving style. What may be a good setup for one driver isn't going to be a good setup for another.
