...tonight it was announced that for the 25th anniversary of the Kings Royal Eldora will be holding a "Kings Reunion"...apparently sometime Saturday afternoon they will have all the former winners gathered in the Eldora Ballroom...all are expected to be there (Wolfgang, Davis Jr, etc.) except for Dave Blaney who can not get out of his NASCAR commitments...

...as part of the details both Sammy Swindell and Don Krietz Jr are going to be racing in the 25th edition of the Kings Royal...awesome !!!...

Yes, "King" Donnie is to be in attendance.....we got word there was to be a past Champions race on Friday???

There has been very LITTLE info out about the 25th running of this event....especially with 40 days to go!

Smitty...not sure about a past champions race...Larry Boos made it sound as if they will be competing in the actual $50,000 to win race Saturday night...

short1988...this information was given last night over the P.A. system during the WoO event at Eldora...he did not say what car or who Sammy will be driving for...

Thats the one thing that sucks about Stewart taking over Eldora. You don't hear any good P.R. on races like the royal. They're too worried about getting all the dumbass NAPCAR fans to buy tickets to go see all their favorite whining-ass drivers run a late model @ the prelude.

do it in the dirt

What's the Prelude? Wouldn'y it be cool to see some of the big boys do the past champions race in their old paint schemes.

Kudos to those dumbass NASCAR fans and those whining-ass drivers for giving up there time and $$$$$$ for a great cause.

The Victory Junction Gang Camp.

Tony's goal this year is to hand them a check for $1,000,000 which I bet will be met and then some.

I applaud Smoke for everything he's done for dirt track racing. Sprint, midget, late models, etc. And what he's doing/done for charities speaks volumes. As for Eldora, good for him!! At least it's still a dirt track and not some outlet mall, right???

Keep up the good work Tony.

I am lucky enough to work at one of the best tracks
anywhere.
