First not trying to piss anyone off, but why is it they cancell all their races out their? About 8-10 or so years ago they raced mods on friday. Then their gone.... Then last few years they raced non wings, now their gone... Now the sprint 600s, wait all of a sudden their races for rest of year are canncelled... Why cant they seam to keep anything going out their? ( besides the track being junk). Why not turn track into a outlaw cart track? Racing carts on friday night.... Remember back when Prairie city raced carts, the pits were packed with cars, so were the stands... Theirs 2 local 1/4 midget tracks but no outlaw cart track... Just a suggestion, especially with gas prices so dang high.

I live pretty close to Sacramento Speedway and have been going there since the early 90s when my brother use to race motorcross. Back then the motorcross track is where the oval track is now and motorcros was pretty propular. Over the last two year I went to three Friday night sprint 600 races and was shocked there there were only about 10-15 people in the crowd. It was pretty fun to watch the races, but I thought "how is this going to survive" with only a few fans and I honestly think everyone there except for my husband and I was family of the racers. It was $10 to get in which I think it a little high considering it is only $11 to go to the 410 point shows at Chico on Friday night. I agree that they need to do something with the oval track because with some work it could be a nice track to race carts on. I hope they are able to keep the facility open considering the economy is bad right now.

Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!

Winged sprintcars = the fastest and most exciting
racecars on dirt!

I thought me and my 2 boys were the only non family people their.... I live close by as well and its nice to take the kids thier fridays. So when they do get fussy and want to leave you pretty much no your not going to miss anything. Unlike if your at placerville or chico... 10 bucks yeh kinda high to watch 6-8 cars. At least give me a free hotdog or soda....
