There is no such thing as a quiet Gold Cup especially if you are tent camping! You will have a fun time and make sure to go to the Bikini Chili Feed on Friday night
Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!

Most of the camping at the GC is reserved, and they charge for ALL sites, even dry camp without hookups. You need to call John Padjen Motorsports to reserve a spot, if there are any left. Perhaps ca.nana will see this(Mrs. JPM) and be able to respond with a little more detail....or they have a website with their phone number...
Quiet? Well, like Kelly and WrightOne stated, that's not likely to happen.....the GC is just one more reason to party!

There are actually more areas where there aren't reserved spots. Much of it is first come, first served. And a lot of those areas are kind of off the beatin path so it is a little more quiet. Just don't get anywhere near the pavilion, because that is where we all converge after the races. It does get a little loud over there. lol
So yeah if you park a little ways away from the pavilion you will be fine. We park quite a ways away from it and it's almost never really loud.
It's funny because the main party area at Gold Cup is right in the area where my family and a lot of our friends camp at during every race in Chico. But for Gold Cup we stay clear of that.(at least for camping)

Ahhhh ! Gc can't wait...All of our numbered reserved spots are taken, but as they stated lots of non reserved spots are available. It can get a little loud by the Pavillion, so if you are looking for quiet, peaceful evenings or nights, stay clear of that.area. But it is only once a year and we try to have as much fun as possible. Safe, clean fun, huh guys?
Our office number is (916) 969-7484 Mon-Thursday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
