Was going to Perris, but rained out. After sitting at the computer checking SCRAFN, VRAFAN and the weather channel, called ol' Hotlasps who was tearing back from V'viille, Jammy said it was a go so we headed up to Jimmy's joint. Glorious weather when we got there at 2:00 after a pit stop at on Der Wienersnitzal. Terrific racing! My hero Bruce Douglass won the senior main with Russell DeBlau starting 12th with a spectacular run up against the wall came in 2nd. I asked DeBlau if he had touched the wall, he said "maybe a few times". 76 year old John Richards got upside at the finish but was OK.
Steve Conrad had a great run to win the VRA feature with Brandon Thompson 2nd. Thompson put on show coming from 12th. He and DeBlau were the hard chargers of the nite.
Austin Rodarte son of "Rowdy Rick Rodarte" won the hard fought modified feature. Sport compacts were fun to watch as were the kids classes. A great nite of racing!
Jammy gets better and better at calling races and provides some interesting reparte with Naylor when they are both on the horn.
