Word has it from a very good source Millstream Speedway in Findlay,Oh just might have a sprint car race mid summer hopefully featuring the All Star Sprints.Nothing has been announced yet so lets keep our fingers crossed. Millstream Speedway has been known for some awesome racing in years past so lets hope it does happen!

Don't laugh, Scoop. Dean Miracle is making a real effort to make something happen over there at Millstream. I laughed, too - but the more I am hearing the more I think it COULD be possible. Time will tell.

I remember ole Dean flagging up there 1 time & damn near falling out of the flagstand after getting hit with a rock or something.

Dean better have a boatload of money. The place has done nothing except deteriorate since it's last race. Is there anything there (buildings & stands) worth saving? Are the parking areas still full of piles of large pieces of busted up concrete & rocks, resembling a dump? It would about be cheaper to start all over again.
Hey, I'd love to see it happen, but geez! Who's gonna put that kinda money into a Sunday track these days, in the midst of new housing that is sure to put up a big fuss about it?

Dean Miracle is my step dad and I can assure you, if he puts his mind to something, it WILL GET DONE. To clear up the rumors, gossip, and doubt. The race is set to be on July 20, 2008. The All- Star sprints will be running.

Well, I have some crow to eat.
At the WoO show at Attica, I got it from what I consider to be a pretty darned good source that (gasp) this may actually happen!! Dean is apparently serious about this, and is highly motivated to make it a reality.
One question. Is Dean buying or leasing?

I believe it is a lease deal.
Now is a great opportunity for all the crap-flingers to get off their butts and lend a hand to help Dean get that place back open. There are always plenty of people saying they'd like to get in there and help to open the gates again - so go lend a helping hand. Hope this becomes reality.

Hope it happens. I know people were saying Hilltop didn't have a chance to re-open. It did and has put on some awesome races(Speedweek at 2am.) They just need to figure out someway to get clay on it now because it is a sweet little track.(Last All-star show)
Hope this happens and gives me another track to visit in Ohio.
