good points.
i'm watchin the rerun - and just spoiled the ending by gettin on here LOL
Just saw the Jason Johnson flip ----- I am biased because he's ran 360's in the midwest for so long and one of my favorites - - - but from the lil bit you could see of it.............did Steve Kinser straight side swipe his front end? I mean its kinda what it looked like as Kinser was wayyyyy loose. did Jason come down into him? flip on his own? or get taken out by the king?
|
Is the re-run still available on the internet somewhere? I would love to watch the race...
Fenders are like vacuums... they both suck.

Taken out from what I understand, the King just cut him off. He was shaken up pretty good, just a bad move on the King's part. :/ I don't think it was intentional of course, but Jason had a good run going... hated to see that happen though. Oh well, that's racing, maybe next time

Every Hick family has the one person who finally leaves home to make something of themselves. Good job Lance. Though in reality he hasn't been a regular Posse in many years. Cause if that is the case we could call Lasoski, McCarl, Dollansky and Madsen still Knoxville Posse too.
I kid, Good job. He beat my man Haud. Happy to see any WoO race on TV. No fender cars means good racing.

Dewease beats the Outlaws in Charlotte. If not for a fuel line problem, it easily might have even been a Dewease-Wolfe, Posse 1-2. Hodnett has also romped the Outlaws at Charlotte in the past. Rahmer gets two wins, and Posse sweeps the podium in Floriduh. We are also looking for four wins in four years at the Knoxville Nationals...
The Outlaws are used to having their asses handed to them over the past 30 years when they come into Central PA... Now it looks like the poor bastards can even run, but can't hide anymore...lol! Posse! Posse! Posse!

Props to LD and crew!!
"Spin away fool!", I love it. We'll hear something like............."I told you 2 years ago that Lance should be on the road and winning".....................hahahahah!!
Better yet, maybe we'll hear nothing at all.

You guys give it a break, it wasn't a Posse win or an AllStar win, it was a Lance Dewease win! He went up against the BEST last night and won. Good luck to Lance tonight at Fremont, after last night he should have no problem handling the Astars. Should be a great night, see you at Fremont.

you look good (yuk) in your mini skirt cheer leaders outfit there Cullie.
Now one question, IF Lance wins at the grove, will he be Possee? or Outlaw?
You do know, Iowa is not allowed to lay claim to Lasoski or McCarl, or Dollansky when they win at Knoxville.

Congrats to DeWease; I always like to see an underdog come out on top. His underdog status has now been forfeited until he gets to Knoxville. It looked like the Catfish and the Cajun were both coming hard enough to possibly make it interesting before they each wrecked. I thought it was great racing from what they caught on camera; lots of guys running in on the cushion and cutting down to race under a guy; thoroughly entertaining and hopefully it represented the sport well.

what happened to Lasoski?
he was passing cars and then all of the sudden his front end was tore up but I did not hear who he ran into?

Saldana was also involved. Not sure what happened , they didn't show a replay.

Don't forget another Knoxville driver gone Outlaw with a couple wins in his belt that we can no longer claim as one of ours, Kerry "The Madman" Madsen.
Congrats to Lance DeWease - The juberance was obvious in his post race interview, Its always good to see the Outlaws get beat by any outsider.

C. None of the above (All Star) but I'm still proud of him.
You can claim whomever you want as far as I'm concerned but McCarl is the only one actually from Iowa on your list. Lasoski is legit but I don't think Dollansky was a regular long enough at K'ville to lay claim. He struggled for years on the road with the All Stars, Gumouts and Outlaws before coming into his own the past couple of years so to say Knoxville prepared him for the big leagues would be a falsehood IMO.

Thanks to Lance for the acknowledgment and props for the win. Getting away from the weakly warriors and running against better/stiffer competition has been a real plus it appears.
Winners at Charlotte over the years have been hardly the usual suspects as well. Can't remember them all but Kevin Swindell and the young IL kid who's name escapes me but should have stayed with sprints are a couple that come to mind along with Greg. Would love to see a complete list!
Anyone know when SPEED is replaying the race, thanks in advance. Take It Easy....

PMS-PN: you might want to watch with the sound turned off...Doty shot holes in your tired myth all night long...and then Lance delivered the knockout punch in VL...PRICELESS!
oh and btw: Sammy won the first race there (i was in the stands) and i think Schatz won last year
