Man what can ya say about lap 17 in the super sprint a main?

I don't even know what to say about it. I've typed and deleted and backspaced now for like half an hour. I just dont know. I can relate because of many of my past experinces on the soccer field. thats why I really don't know what exactly to say. And from knowing Cody and Mike a llil bit and Brandon in his most colorful and amusing form - as Cheese. It just sucks.

But man ya'll will get the wins. you both deserve em. you both did tonight. you both drove AWESOME. deflating moments of hard luck and defeat tonight will only add to the awesome-ness (wtf?) when you get the win. I know this all probably comes out stupid. But man just sittin in the stands seeing ya'll get out your racecars - was tough to watch. I mean in the sideline sort of way ya know. Here's to hoping that bad luck keeps her freakin nose out of it long enough for ya'll to accomplish what you are more than capable and deserving of......................

If this came out wrong or stupid - I'm really sorry. It just really sucks. It would have been much cooler to be able to go down and congratulate either of you on the long overdue win. and to see either of you out on the front straight next week. Cody ran an excellent race - looks really strong in the super sprints. Brandon (Cheese) ran an equally great race and you were both so deserving of the win. but ya'll will get it. Best of luck to both you - but honestly - as talented as both of you are - I'd just like to see luck leave the 2 of you ALONE! so yeah. Screw Good luck next week. Luck can screw off. Ya'll keep your heads up and keep slingin the dirt..............

All the features were great last night!! Rhoades gets his first Pro win, Stanley gets a break with slower traffic holding Steve up, and then nips him at the wire, Brandon blows up (sorry Cheese) and Cody gets tangled with a powerless sprinter (sorry again Cheese) down the backstretch and Michelle benefits in both sprint car divisions and takes home victories due to Brandon and Codys misfortunes and a really nice late lap pass on Butler and Lambert. All in all some pretty good racing and a pretty decent looking crowd. Also, congrats to Brian McCelland on his Sooner Region win at Boyd, Tx last night.

Yeah last night sucked. It just wasn't my night between the flat tire in the heat and the blown motor in the feature. They threatened to black flag me for smoking on lap 7, but it wasn't the smoke that caused it to blow. It still had plenty of oil and it wasn't burnt or anything. Right now the diagnosis is a broken rod bolt until I can tear into it.

On the other hand I told everyone that once I got it running I would be up front. I know it was a fast track, but it was still water slick in areas so it was a little tough.

I feel bad for Cody too, I saw him get underneath me in 1 and on the white flag lap I was going to go in a little lower in 1 to cover his line. I know that there was nothing I could do, but I still feel bad because I know that they are just like me and can't afford to fix a broke race car, and I hope he gets back out there soon.

Also thanks to everyone for calling, texting, and coming down last night. It helped a lot.

PS: I know it's a long shot, but if anyone has a motor that I can run give me a shout one way or the other.

Cheese I really feel bad for you also. You and Cody were going to finish first and second and I'm sure just like us you sure could have used the money. As it turned out we didn't break alot of parts. We got a top wing, rear bumper, front shock, 4 shock mounts, torsion stop, and I need to talk to David Jones and see if he will piece back together our front wing. I would rather replace those parts than a motor and hope that you can get a motor. One thing about it the sun will always shine and there is next week

Hey Mike, I can hook you up with one of my spare nose wings. It's not pretty (or orange), but it works.

It's not HOW fast you go, but how you GO fast.

We started outside 4th row and I believe Michele started either 5th or 6th row. I agree the track was fast

I thought there was much more passing and it was much much more racy than the previous week (ascs). Track was heavy - but from the stands I have seen a heck of a lot worse. at least it wasn't a wet grand canyon like we had a couple times last year.

The track was fast, but its not like it was a hold it to the floor deal. I, along with most everyone else, was way too tight. So I was running through the slop in the track to turn it.
