Three (3) series sponsors of the GSC are now offering a total of $1.500 to their top four finishers in the USAC/CRA show at Tulare's Thunderbowl. See Gary Thomas' post below. The money is to be paid out only to the top four finishing GSC drivers who take their wings off. That is a good incentive for some of their top shoes to challenge the CRA boys on May 25.
In response my wife and I, through our business (Zanzabuku Sports Lounge in Lakewood) will post $500 to the top four finishing wingless sprint car drivers from USAC/CRA at the Tulare race. We will pay $200 to the first place car, $150 for second, $100 for third and $50 for fourth place.
Anyone in Socal care to join us? I will present our money to the race promoter the night of the race. Lets have some fun and enjoy the track's salute to Indy.
There is one conflicting race date with a Civil War (360) race at Chico's Silver Dollar track on the same date.
