I agree on both counts. I think Mark sent a message last night. If you cheat you will get caught, and when you get caught your DQ'd.

The factory stock A and the E-Mod A were both a bit messy. E-Mods were our fault, track needed to be rolled in more, factories weren't.

Yeah...... I was wanting to say the track went away, but I don't know if it was ever really there. Yesterday was the first time I have ever seen, anywhere, the water truck watering the track at the same time cars were rolling it in. It was pretty much dry slick by the time the modifieds got up for our heats. I don't think I had to pull 3 or 4 tear offs all day.

I'm not blaming the track management or anyone else. I think the gale force winds took care of it by itself.

Mark said he had poured water to it all day!!! Damned Oklahoma wind, and that rippin' down the plain stuff. At least it was the same for everyone. Mods are getting to be one heck of a show!!! Did you see Deke's sheetmetal?

Clevenger sure had his sprint dialed in. Starting posisition probably helped, but he was gone!!!

That was not fun at all. I think i could have gave you guys a good show racing for the lead. The car was on a rail before that happened. Couldn't see a thing after that. I just kept it high so i wouldnt hit anyone or anything. Oh well, kinda how my week went.

You and Bucky were both doing pretty godd before the banging strarted. You were on a tear before, and I noticed that at least the left part of your field of vision was blocked. Looked like it made it real tough to judge where a car was underneath you. I also noticed you moved up a little higher at the same time.

I gave it away in both races lastnight, at least from where I was running. The 36 was untouchable and kinda surprised me when he shot out underneth me off of 2 on the start of the feature.

I found a pretty major error in my setup yesterday when on the scales. I made the adjustment and the car has come to life. Turns out, my setup has been wrong all year. Now I know.

I'd much rather race on a slicked off, dusty track than a locked down heavy motor eatin track like the ascs boys had both nights this weekend. Takes a little talent and finesse( i have neither) to drive on a slick track.

Mr Announcer! I would like to give a formal appology to all my race fans at Brill motor speedway. Especially the young ones! I know you can do that for me next week. I will personally apologize when I return in 2 weeks. We assumed we were legal according to my knowledge But, that don't say much! I'm not blaming anyone it's my responsability to know that I'm 100% legal and I didn't double check and in no way, was it intentional. It's just like nascar engine builders and chasis builders, they do things to cars that the driver knows nothing about! But who get the penilty or fine?? The driver! or Owner! It's a bad deal when you have a wife and family that supports there fathers hobby week in and week out and something like this happens! Also, I Would like to apologize to my fellow racers, Curt #23, Brian #4, Jimmy #11, Chad #44, Holly #63, Jarvis #78 and the rest of the factory stock Class! Sorry, I had no idea that was done! I hope ya'll will accept my appology and I will see you in 2-weeks to redeem Myself.

WOW. Talk about a true racer quality here. What a great guy for a public apology. That just goes to show you what kind of racers out there are in this sport for the fun and not the weekly A feature steal. Congrats to you sir on showing everyone what a true racer you are. I think more people need to take note. Sorry about your bad luck and we will be happy to see yall in 2 weeks.

I totally agree. no bitching or moaning about it just wanting to let everyone know he is sorry. I dont know what was found illegal but that was a stand up job on his part. i give him props for that and i will do my best to be out there in two weeks to give him a big hand when he does it at the track. Great Job Brian

It is awesome to see a driver who owns up to something like this instead of passing blame everywhere else.  Looking forward to seeing you back at the races in two weeks!

Brian,

That was a "class act" apology and I must tell you what I did, hope I've not overstepped my bounds.

I was impressed enough with your statement that I copied it and posted it on another race forum "as an example" of how to present yourself when you have been found illegal or whatever.

Will be glad to see you back in two weeks...enjoy your time with your supportive family...I think it's great that you gave them kudos for supporting you and your hobby.

How ironic. I was toying with the idea of starting a thread about being disqualified and why some drivers feel that it is a personal attack by the track. With the recent disqualifications have also come a rash of "we'll never run at your *&%@# track again" tirades, that are unprofessional and uncalled for.

Brian, with your permission, I will read your apology before next weeks factory stock race. I certainly couldn't have said it any better.

Last year I mentioned to you what a class act I thought it was pulling off in an A feature that you obviously had won. I have an even higher respect for you now. Look forward to seeing you in the pits after your suspension is over. In the mean time, you are welcome to join me in the booth. I assure you I have the one of the best views in the house, and your insight would be welcome.

See you and your crew soon
