World of Rain Outs.... This year is almost as bad as 1993. Must be another El Nino year. Next week will almost be 1/2 way to Mid Season Championship at Knoxville and their second race night of the year.

I just don't remember a season starting off like this year has. Come June/July these guys are gonna be racing 4-6 nights a week in order to make up all these rescheduled events. I mean, its not just the Outlaws its pretty much everything all across the mid-west thats being affected. All of Wissota country has been hit hard, dozens of tracks rained out every week. I'm sick and tired of it myself. Most tracks up in my area can't afford too many more rainouts, or their seasons could be a write off.

We just had the wettest summer I can remember down here on the east coast of Australia, "the summer that didn't happen" is what we've called it.

we haven't had a rainout yet at OKC - and we've ran like 9 or 10 times. we aint in a drought neither. just been lucky enough to get the rain during the week. I think if the WoO weren't so geographically challenged - they might get some more races in. I bet they run about 95% of their races north of the Mason-Dixon. How about WoNo. World of Northern Outlaws.

funney thing is, up here, theres been so many rainouts, and our local law enforcement just lifted the burn ban here locally (figure that one out?) owell ,we need the moisture. I just wish the faucet was turned off for the weekends, good weather will come, its still springtime for another month, and besides August is what matters the most!
