You want details!!! With the strong winds and dirt flying, I missed who won the mods as I think Lucas Steel was leading but ended up in the infield towards the end. Sorry I was trying to save my eyes for the sprint race.
Gary started on the pole and took the lead. Shane & Robert passed him a few laps in. We had a few cautions due to the slick track, but Gary managed to get past Robert for 2nd place. A few more laps, and Gary passed Shane just for another caution to come out, so Gary went right back to 2nd. With a few laps left in the race, Gary passed Shane for the final time and took the checks! I think we had 13 sprints total. It was nice to see some action going on in the sprints.
As I said, it was very windy and the dirt was blowing. I will probably still be scrubbing dirt out of my hair come the end of the week. Nothing like taking home some of the track with you LOL.
