That was a tough choice on who to take sides with their.
The guy who is just the figment of his fathers imagination and will NEVER be a 1/4 of what his dad ever was. WHO, by the way, people did NOT like before he was killed but now worship him at death.
OR the ignorant, no driving Busch.
David Smith Jr.

aw I don't know bout having no talent. he has to have some to run with other folks. If he has absolutely no talent ----- than neither does anyone in Nascar - and that it's 100% car and 0% driver - and instead of drivers - they'd do just as well with robots.
I'm sure he has some talent. but David I fully agree with everything else you said. His popularity came from his fathers untimely death and the media and fans response to it. and yeah - hardly anyone like his father before that ------ but yet within a week of his crash there were a few million people driving around with 3's on their back windshield. and then it was 8's as well. Dale Jr's attention sure wasn't deserved off talent - but more the situation and who his sponsor was. needless to say - I don't see many 8's on the backs of cars anymore. although I did see a few where they just stuck another 8 on there to make 88. Being a dirt track fan - of course I like Stewart. but my opinion on all of this doesn;t even hold that much water - as I don't watch Nascar at all - just what I see on Sportscenter. But it's really funny they vilify Busch for spinnin out Jun-ya ---- but yet I specifically remember a race I watched with my grandpa when I was a kid - and it was a night race at Richmond - and his dad spun someone out on the last lap to win. Don't quite remember who it was ----- but it's funny that no one in the media is talkin bout it. pandering to Dale Jr. fans - as always.

For someone nobody liked he made his fortune off selling t-shirts. Bush is a good driver,everyone makes mistakes,ask Stanley and Steve Smith. { Jr. fan }

I think Busch is a Pr**k. But, after watching clips of Dale sr. in the '80s, in some of the situations he was in, I'm seeing Busch driving almost as good.
We have changed the lighting on Sr.s antics since the '80s and '90s. They rarely show anything that would villify him now.

Many drivers can drive and get away with what Busch is doing with todays 'dumb proof saftey cars' they now drive. Its just that other drivers have not "yet" choosen that way to drive.

That was Terry Labonte that Sr. spun out on the last lap at Bristol. Jeremy Mayfield did the same thing to him later that year at Pocano and really ticked Sr. off. Sometimes it's mistakes and others it's intentional. Jr. said in an interview he don't condone the way his father drove and he hoped to not ever do it that way. Busch is fast and so are alot of other drivers. Just would rather see em race than wreck each other. I never liked Sr's. style. I do respect jr. though for his driving style.
