Anyone in the area, can you tell us how the weather looks in Knoxville? I figured today would be more problematic than tomorrow.

It's supposed to rain again overnight and then the wet stuff should be out of the area by 9am Saturday.
The backside of the front will bring a cold and windy day with an afternoon high of 53 and a racetime low in the 40's with wind from the northwest in the teens. Not a day unlike last Saturday. At least rain on Saturday isn't in the forcast like last week. The rigs were able to pack down a path to and from the pits so, hopefully, that won't be as much of a concern either.
I'd be very surprised if they don't race Saturday night. Bundle up, though.

If football fans can sit in a blizzard and watch a game I don't see why race starved Sprint racing fans wouldn't do the same. I know I would come prepared with plenty of layers of clothing and internal antifreeze.

We went to Lakeside last night in K C KS and got a pleasant surprise.It wasn't as bad as everyone expected and the wind died down before the program was over but the races were red-hot (as usual) and a good time was had by all.Here's wishing everybody in Knoxville a great night.
IF WE'RE RACING -----IT'S ALL GOOD !
(Of course we were sitting in the Seeburg Muffler Suite but there was no reason not to enjoy a good friend's generosity.)
There were too many smiling faces down below in the grandstands not to know that they were having just as much fun as we were !
