Saturday April 26^th found the velocity motorsports team lead by crew chief chuck cypert at the placerville speedway for points race number #5.

Drawing a late number for qualifying on a track that the warm day had slicked off myles clicked off a time of 10.924 which was 13^th quick,.200 seconds off of fast time of 10.727.

The heat race would prove difficult on track conditions that got slicker with each lap,myles was 5^th when disater struck and myles flipped in turn 1.

The chuck cypert lead crew went to work repairing the car to get ready for the b-main,myles used patience and finished 4^th to transfer to the a-main.

On what was now a very slick track myles in his cv fabricators/maclac paints/mtl manufacturing/pacific bolt/stud welding products/kaeding performance maxim would start 20^th.

Myles used patience to work his way up through the pack until slick conditions caught myles and he spun in turn 3 and had to restart last again.

When the green flag was thrown myles started his march to the front again on a very slick track,at the conclusion of the main myles would finish 11^th behind past champion jimmy trulli.

Myles is now 7^th in points and leading the rookie of the year points by 18 markers.

Next up for myles and the velocity motorsports team is the al hind memorial race which is civil war race #3 where myles is 9^th in points.
