Hey Ronnie,

Did you have enough sheet metal left to make patterns for replacements??

That was Ronnie's version of add-on-air conditioning.

I didn't see the 5 and 64 get together, I just saw them coming apart. What happened?

I didn't see the actual wreck, when I looked towards 4, Ronnie (7R) was the meat in a three car sandwich which had the 64 and 5R as the bread.

I talked to Ronny today, he said he was beating out that wadded mess and putting it back on the car, he said he's probably gonna have to get another roof for it. it looked to me like it's gonna need more than just a roof.

The bread was #81 (Warren Oberg) and #17 (Robert Fallin).

I was watching the E-mod A-feature where #81 lost it between turn 3 and 4 and got sideways and the #7R had to stomp on his brakes to keep from hitting #81 which put #7R sideways also, the #17 got caught up in the mix also with nowhere to go and collected the 7R in the side. thats what race I was watching.

The Ronnie that the Biggs were referring to was Ronnie Lehew, Jr. (Or at least thats what I thought. And Grease-rag is right about that sandwich I got the cars wrong.

I think Bucky was referring to The Mod A Feature where Jay Sales (64) and Ron Gould, Jr. (05) got together.

Right?

Yes, I was talking about Ronnie Lehew, sorry I didn't make that clear. I was afraid his car was going to be crushed the way it looked when it was happening...so glad they were all able to pull out and race.
