It, sucked big time! Where were all the Falls and North Texas guys at????????????????? They have another track around the Falls area I don't know about?????
Next week its back to the Devils Bowl with more cars in the pits, then Lawton has people in the stands!!!

yea its pretty sad when there is more mini stocks than any other class out there,and the stands are really pathetic. but we did have a little action in mini stock division this past weekend.

Lanny is tryin to gat the car count up a few of us city guy's came down we will try to get some more times are tough I guess with the price of fuel and everything people just arent gettin out and racin much
winners dont cry when they lose , they go back to the
drawing board and come back for round 2 !

Anybody been over to a town called Ardmore ???????????????????????????????????
I hear they got a thing called a race track that actually cares about the people who race there and the people who pay to watch them race cars.
a place called Lake Country Speedway
It's a novel idea, I hear its catching on out north of Meeker. Them Brills all got it goin on..........
I hear that other tracks in OKC, & Lawton used to be that away but I'm past 40 & don't remember that far back.......

Butt, Lanny has all the experience and knowledge to promote racing. Must be that owners and/or drivers are being missled by these other tracks that are growing and pleasing the fans and drivers.

I think the answer to your question and what everyone is trying to say is that Lawton sucks! Hell, I even know that and I don't even go down there that much. Look around.

Lawton does not have the $$$$$$$$$$ base OKC area has.
That's my Opinion and I'm stick'en to it.

the actual reason is they are crappin on the ones that are there every weekend to support them.last weekend they paid the okc guys fifty bucks tow money to show up and only anybody from okc.i know for a fact that there were other cars there that pulled just as far or futher. the whole staff there is the most unorganized and rudest bunch i have ever seen.then they wonder why the car count is down.
go figure!

I've seen that W.F. has opened their asphalt track back up and the new owners are hyping it up. Maybe they got tired of driving to Lawton to get their cars torn up and racing to feed a midget that don't care. Sounds like the only tracks losing cars are the ones owned or ran by the midget. JMO. Never been to Meeker, been to Ardmore a few years back and liked it, but those sound like the tracks to run at this year.

the only survival for lawton is for lanny to lease or sale , and whoever takes over would need to get new officials ,scorers ,etc,, there are several cars in the wichita falls , electra area still around ,but have had enough of the bull---- from lawton officials &,lanny,: seems he has forgotten what brings the fans in

Lanny has nothing to do with me running everyweek, I had not planned on running but about twice a month before the year started. I would rather race a Lanny track because it is run quickly without all the unnecessary down time. I will be there this week.

There is a dirt track in the falls. It is called Texoma Motor Speedway. 1/4 mile high bank clay oval. Every Saturday night: T4 Modifieds, Mini Stocks, Pure Stocks, Mini Sprints. The track is sancitioned for IMCA Sport Mods as well. Ron Clark is the promoter and is trying to get the Sport Mods going. I have taken my mod up there and hot lapped. Its a pretty nice track. Call Ron Clark at 940-447-4143 or go to www.texomamotorspeedway.com

I see that Gary Owens made the haul down to Lawton last weekend. Results say last in his heat and a DNS in the feature. Anyone know if he crashed or broke? That is if anyone even went.
