oh yeah, Bud won. Suggs was 4th or 5th, lots of cars upside down. Musta been the cross winds. Been blowing a gale all afternoon and evening here.

Bud, Statler, Hirst, Suggs, Henry, Geving, Lindt, Golobic. I think. Bk got upside down running 3rd.Walker crashed out of first or second talking Allard with him. Becker had lead pulled off on yellow don't know why. Very COLD.

Great win for Bud! Jason Statler had a great weekend with a 1st yesterday and a 2nd tonight. Too bad for those involved in the crashes! I bet it was really cold there- its always is.
Looking forward to the new Golden State King of the
West series schedule!

I must of missed the lots of cars upside down thing. Only saw one flip all night and not many yellows. BK was the only one who I saw get upside down and it was more of a sideways roll. Didn't seem to be much wing damage. He rolled back onto four wheels and was pushed to the pits. Brent was back on the track and racing with a vengeance when the green came back out.
Walker, Becker and Bud Keading put on a wild show swapping the lead in lapped traffic multiple times. Allard was getting himself into the picture too before a lapped car took out the leader Walker and collected Allard on lap 19. It was kinda sad for Walker who was showing restraint all night in lapped traffic. He got on the brakes several times and even gave up the lead to avoid contact.
The entire program was over before nine. It was really cold but I do like that track. It reminds me of the departed West Capital with that dark tacky clay... wheelies galore! Bud put on a nice show after the checkered flew. Held a wheelie almost the entire front straight away and did a donut tornado in the infield before shutting it down at the flag stand.
I will return to Petaluma Speedway very soon!

The above post nailed the recap of the race. What a awesome battle for the lead and a clean race. The three wide moves by the leaders in lapped traffic were awesome. It was hard to watch all the action as there was passing through out field every lap. Mike Henry has a nice run at the end of the race but ran out of time. I had two "stick and ball" fans there for the first time and they are now hooked. Very cold but overall a great night of racing.
