Tony Denius passed away a week ago Thursday. Tony ran Flat Track Motorcycles all over the country, and his bikes still hold records at tracks like Ascot. Tony was an avid race fan and could be found at spectating and helping racers at the Pas, The Grand, Costa Mesa and tracks all over the US. Tony was looking forward to the Victorville race, and I am having a hard time getting up for it knowing he will be missing it.
Dirttrack racing exists because of dedicated people who leave more than they take. Godspeed Tony, you will be missed.
