Neisteadt god for bid actual preperation go into filling out a simple spreadsheet that would outline and estimate total costs of operation for 2008 season. I guess Hushit's is still waiting for that free copy of Microsoft Excel so that they can complete this. As for the "Wertz Designs Runner-Up Award." it would be a cold day in hell before I gave a promoter a dime.
While it is good to see $10,000 to the points winner and $2500 to the weekly winner all this really is, is fluff with no real substaince. At the end of the year everyone will still be complaining that they didn't know the overal points payout was going to suck just like it always does. Until racers actually use 1 or 2 brain cells and force the promoters to publish this information up front they will continue to get screwed every year.
It is not hard to breakdown 1-24 in points and weekly payout breakdowns. Heck bets are you may only have to do it for 12 cars as Huset's is lucky to get that many cars on a weekly basis. All in all it makes no difference to me as I will be at my local golf courses here in MN chasing the little white ball around this summer.

I thought that was a racing move not a golf move. Kicking in the nuts. Then send them back out there and see if they run any faster.

Keep drinking leadfoot you are not even qualified to carry my bag around the course and I have no plans to visit Jackson Speedway anytime in the near future either.
