B Main: Argo (nipping Miller in the final lap).
A Main: J. Rod, Kruser, R. J., Tony J., Miller.
A stiff breeze across the track from over the lake kept Ray pretty busy all night, but quite a few of the 32 cars q'd under 17. Things ran smoothly thru the heats and the B, but came apart in the A. Tony led from the pole for a lap before R.J. led through a series of restarts for flips, all in turns 3 and 4, involving Spencer, Brown and Ford. Hansen passed R. J. on lap 17 and got by the wire before Cody Williams flipped in the middle of turns 3-4. Hansen, Tony and R. J. battled for a bit, running three abreast through turns 3 and 4 at about lap 20. Hansen and Jones tangled in turn 1 on lap 24, collecting Showtime who had advanced to third at that point. R. J. led the restart, but J. Rod passed him on the next lap. His teammate, Mitchell, flipped in turn 3 on lap 26. Eleven cars took the restart flag and ran the final three laps.
