In the event of a blow-out during the heats or semi and they qualified for the Main, they go to the back for the Main?
Can a Team elect to change tires for the Main and go to the back, even thou they did not have a blowout?
Thanks,
Don

Based on your second question, if EVERY team that qualified for the feature changed a RR, what would that do to the lineup? Seems to me that the teams could unite, and, according to the rules, all change tires and revert to the original lineup......

Here is the clarification from the promoter.
Right Rear qualifying tire only will be used for A main. RR will be marked at qualifying. No tire rule for heats or semis. In the event of RR tire failure in A main, the replacement RR must be the same make and compound and go to rear. If replaced in the A main with different manufacturer and/or compound, car will be disqualified with all money and contingencies forfeited. The RR make and compound chosen for qualifying will be your A main tire. No exceptions. Regards,Cary.
