A 12 year old female driver was seriously burned tonight (April 5, 2008) during the ASCS2 event at I-44 Speedway. At this time we are not releasing her name, but we will as soon as we can. As soon as we have any official information on her condition, we will provide that as well.

Update 1: From discussions with her family at the hospital early this morning we understand that she will be transferred to the burn center in Galveston, Texas.

The remaining race program was cancelled following the accident.

We ask that the entire racing community join with us in praying for her, her family and friends during this trying time.

Don't know how to post liks here, but you can get an update at www.microutlaws.com at the discussion board.

Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers. Also a big thanks to some names that some of you all may know here like Donnie Ray Crawford, Jerrod Wilson and Harlan Hulsey who helped get the girl out of the car.
