Article on Knoxville's website says Lasoski / Forbrook plan to race the opener @ Kville and are considering running for the points @ K'ville as well.
Weekly racing is looking better and better....

Lasoski just stated on an internet show on wednesday that he is running the WoO series. He said it may take 3-4 cars to run the entire thing but he is going to do what it takes. He said he will have his car at Pevely. He said that when his car is closer where the WoO is running, he will use his car but when the series is closer to Forbrooks car, they will use that car. He said he will be driving a PA car when the WoO head up that way but I can't remember who he said it was for. I know things change with a driver like the weather changes, but this is what he said wednesday....take it for what it is worth.

Maybe Fast Freddie will put another car out there and will take the 1 off the sidepanel!

Only in the event of a rainout---they used to pay $75 or $100 tow money if the race rained out and you were on the grounds.
With the way the Fairboard complains and says the weekly shows are money losers, I can't see them offering Lasoski and Forbrook $$$ to show up, Danny may actually hurt attendance more than it helps.

Oh, they've been claiming him since '95...
Lasoski cruised in the Al Hamilton No. 77 for about half-a-summer.

Hmmm, interesting. One driver using "regional rides" to run the WoO series. I think when this season gets underway that it's going to become obvious that 2008 is not business as usual for any track or sanction. Fuel prices and the economy are already having an impact but nobody can see the forest through the trees. I'm sure the racing will still be fun but I wonder how many budgets will be blown before the end of the summer.

Lasoski was a guest on Dirt Nation this past Monday and did mention his intent to use his car, Forbrook's, and one in PA. Basically saying he will do whatever it takes to stay on the road with the WoO. They will be using the #5 only for points. The cars will be a mixed bag throughout the season.

red cars have been purchased and sat idle in years past...only to be sold at the end of the year - without a scratch on them.

Thanks, good timing. How did you know I was in the process of reloading my MP3 player? I'll give it a listen sometime during the work day tomorrow.
P.S. A lot of Late Model stuff on there as well. I like a little variety so I'll bookmark the site.
