In talking to Garth Moore tonight(Mason's father), it appears that Mason will have a busy day on Friday. Not only will he be competing in the opening 410 point race at Silver Dollar Speedway, but he also has a double header baseball game that same day in Hayfork. The drive would be too far to be able to get back to Chico in time, so to be able to do both they have rented a plane and Mason is going to fly back to Chico to be able to run the night's opening point race, which is sponsored by GP Development.
Moore will be chasing the Silver Dollar Speedway and Civil War Series titles in '08 as he begins his sophomore year of sprint car racing. The Civil War season kicks off next Wednesday night with the re-scheduled "Wild Winged Wednesday" event at Placerville.

Only his mouth to much! I really hope your joking, because if not then you are just a "TOOL" looking to get a rise out of people on here. Anyway's goodluck Mason at your ballgame and then at the track later that evening.
Trophy Cup......Best race of the year hands down!

now aint that a good one for him? Next time u c Racer41 say hi to "Negative Nic"
Racer41 oops Negative Nic "lol if you only knew..." since u know it all, what should we know? Mason can kick your butt on the track 2? dont see u in a sprint car? or playing baseball. only in a sprint 100 oh yeah didnt u run karts? I think Mason kick your butt in karts like every1 else did. how many A mains did u make in the karts? compare to how many u didnt make? we are not talking about sprint100 mains that had only 10 cars for the night. thats not racing or we should say that not competition

while mason is a talented driver and his parents obviously have the ability to help support him, most teams, like ours for example, are looking for money just to race. it is good that he will get to do both. a lot of people have to make choices and sacrifices in order to race.

Mason is still just a kid, but I'm sure his family makes many sacrafices to help their son succeed (as it should be). And if your team happens to be "The Wright One Construction Team", then you guys spent more money chasing the Outlaws than the Moores could spend in 10 years racing and playing baseball in California.....and that was your choice right?

my team is not rick wrights team. and rick prob'ly spent more money on bud and jr racing in cali last year than you would like to know. that still does not change the fact that most teams, including the one i am on, struggle just to show up. it is great that some have the ability to not have to make the choice of what to go without. they just don't all feel it requires a press release to tell everyone. by the way it is great that mason and jr. and others like shane golobic have parents that can support and find ways to keep supporting their kids.
