Front Row Challenge/Ultimate Challenge Tickets Up for Grabs Today!

(Bill W) April 1, 2008 – Remaining tickets for the Musco Lighting Front Row Challenge and the USAC Searsboro Telephone Company Ultimate Challenge are up for grabs! Starting today you can purchase your tickets for both events by calling McTwo Promotions at 515-957-0020, Tuesday through Thursday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Infield party passes will be $20 in advance this year, and $25 the day of the race, so get your orders in beforehand to save yourself $5!

The events are held at the ½ mile Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, Iowa, and along with the Nationals events at Knoxville are a vital part of Southern Iowa Sprintweek. "We think we offer a great event for people of all ages, without raising the prices every year," says McTwo Promotions' Terry McCarl. "We always have plenty of giveaways for the kids, and try to make an 'event' out of it. We want these races to be an ideal retreat for any race fan, and we do our best to make this thing bigger and better every year!"

The 13th Annual Musco Lighting Front Row Challenge has quickly become one of the "must see" events on any race fans calendar, and will take place this year on August 4. Entertainment, as well as great racing is always a part of the "FRC". Rob Chaney scored another one for the state of Ohio, besting Bronson Maeschen, Sam Hafertepe Jr., Ryan Farrell and Chad Hillier in the 2007 event. Donny Schatz's bid at $50,000 from the back of the pack fell short because of mechanical difficulties. You know the field will include the best in the sprint car business again this year!

Fans are always on the edge of their seats at the Front Row Challenge. Usually their eyes are focused on the rear of the field to see if anyone can claim a big check for a big feat. "I think Donny had a real shot at it ($50,000) last year before his mechanical problems. We're due! No one's been able to pull it off since Jac Haudenschild in 1999," says McCarl of the chances of someone coming from the rear of the field.

The best drivers in the "traditional" non-wing sprint car world battle it out in a "One night stand for 30 grand!" on Tuesday, August 5. For the first time, the event will be sanctioned by USAC, ensuring that the best drivers in non-wing sprint car racing will be on hand. Last year's event fell to rain, but in 2006, Jerry Coons Jr. drove the legendary Hoffman #69 entry to victory and a large paycheck! The action is always intense from the first green thrown to the last checkered flag at the Ultimate Challenge!

"We're excited about USAC being a part of this event," says McCarl. "You can't beat the winner's paycheck, that's for sure! Having Tony Stewart and Kasey Kahne bring their race teams is huge for us. There should be an impressive field of cars here! It was a real bummer to be rained out last year, but I think we'll more than make up for it in 2008!"

Don't miss either event…order your tickets today!
