Day 1 of the Northern Ohio Sprint Car Show was well attended by fans and racers at the Tiffin Mall. The good Friday turnout bodes well for Saturday, which is always the peak day.
As an indicator of the good attendance and generousity of our racing family, sales of raffle tickets for the Make A Wish Foundation pedal car & the Community Hospice Care Baumann Automotive charity car are both running higher than expected.
Today's featured events will kick off at noon as the Buckeye Speed Zone radio show will broadcast live from the Hoserville Ohio room (the old Hallmark store).
As the broadcast closes at 2:00, the Hoserville Ohio Benefit Auction will begin. As of Friday night, most of the auction items were already in place in the room. The items include a fantastic selection of memorabilia, which is sure to include something for every taste. These will include a number of items that have been added at the last minute, and have not been listed online. Please open your hearts and your pocketbooks in support of this extremely worthwhile effort.
