A stock car guy (I think) is leading this contest.
Are we going to let him beat Wayne Johnson - a dedicated sprint car driver for more years than he probably wants to admit.
Wayne is only .5% behind in votes. We can vote one time each day. Only about 7 days left.
I myself became complacent because Wayne had a good lead - but now it's imperative that we vote.
If you don't want to give your real name, etc., use George Bush, or Wayne Johnson - or Sammy - or anyone.
If we can't rally behind our own to get that $12,000 then we shouldn't bother to go to any more sprint car races.
I know - $12,000 doesn't cover much - but it might cover the fuel to get to a few races down the line.

for you crazy PA fans you can even claim him as Posse for the next week! thats kiddin' but seriously..............the modified fans are making the sprint car fans look a lil bad here. We all like to brag about the sprints are the best on dirt - BACK IT UP!
even if you aren't a huge fan of Wayne Johnson - at least take note of what he accomplished. and what a hige win against the odds it was for both driver and race team. this 0.5% lead will actually take more to overcome than it appears. But if many of the supporters of sprint car racing and this forum put in 45 seconds to do it - it can vault him into first.
One thing I don't like about this voting though, is it shows these percentage points. What if at the end of the voting both Johnson and Hess have - say - 19.2%? It would be much better if we could see the actual # of votes for each driver. I don't wanna know who wins in a press release - I wanna SEE it. I know that is menial - but think it would be better. Just a thought.
but c'mon you guys vote Waybe Johnson - and let a rep of the most exciting form of racing in the world take that 12k$ sponsorship home.

Looks like we are all going to have to beat the bushes and get friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, etc., to vote, too...It is important to vote everyday through Sunday the 16th. It's too close to take a chance and when the votes are all tallied it could make a huge difference if we even miss one day.

I'm voting everyday. Go Wayne.
It seems the other sprint car drivers have very little chance of making up ground and winning. Perhaps it's time for their supporters to support Wayne Johnson so we can see a sprint car drive win this thing.

hell yeah - closing in. I'm voting 4 seperate e-mail accounts - 2 that I just created yesterday. and also have mom, girlfriend, and best friend voting. 5 e-mail account between the 3 of them.

Thanks everybody! The gap is narrowing! I think the Alltel guy said on Dirt Nation that as of last night just before the show aired, the difference was only about 100 votes...so we need to keep on this!
