ATTENTION PHOTOGRAPHERS: In preparation for promoting the 25th annual running of this exciting event, we are seeking Victory Lane, as well as car and driver shots, of the 24 previous winners. If you have any of the above, for our use, please forward to the Eldora Speedway office as soon as possible.
We'll give you a "bye" on the '07 event, 'cause I don't think they need movie stubs from Piqua Theaters in their programs! LOL
On a serious note...does anyone have any dirt on this event yet? Anything special for the 25th annual event?

Dang Smitty, I coulda swore I bought you a shooter at the bar last year at Royal weekend. I was told I missed nothin' the next night and from the whining I read in here it appears to have been true, wouldn't you agree?
Sold my negs anyway, but I could buy Royal tickets for the next 40 years with the money I got, lol. Frank, Travis and the boys will do a good job for more than half those years and Larry Reese the Pepsi man will have the rest covered. Take It Easy.....

You did buy the shooter on FRIDAY night! But you were MIA Saturday, and that's when they need the pics from. Although the racing action didn't compare to Friday night, I wouldn't drive that far to bag the main event!
I already emailed the track requesting a LATER start time for this years event. It's a shame all those heat races were complete before dark....that's a shame.

Driving that far (five hours) after having driven more than a dozen years all over the country chasing sprinters, that was nothin'.
The fact I was married and living in Canada and my Wife was still living in Kansas City and it was a rendezvous weekend had a whole lot more to do with anything than a crappy track did, lol. I love the Big E but I can't handle seeing a track in that state, I'll live with my wonderful Kings Royal memories instead. Make a little more sense now, I hope?
PS I can honestly say I have no memmory as to what movie we saw that night either, my bad.....
