I do know they have built a small track for kid sprints, which you can see by their new track ad on the front page of this website, is one new class they will be running each and every Saturday night. If I understood right they are working on a new or improved concession stand and they have added even more dirt to turns three and four to hopefully solve that little hole problem.
From the drivers I have talked to and heard about, there are alot of people pleased as to the direction Mark and staff are going so I look for really good car counts this year.

You can see lots of dirt work going on in turns 3 and 4 from the highway. I can't tell if it's widened out more or what, but the wall sections are moved and there's work being done. Whatever the problem was in 3 and 4 in '06 was a whole lot better in '07, and it looks like he's working overtime to make it even better this year. Drivers could answer that better I'm sure. I also heard through a really thin grapevine that radios might be in the picture this year, but that's not fact, just something I heard might happen. Can't wait for the season to start. PushTruckMatt, wake up and get on here and tell us what's going on buddy!

mark said he was going to widened turns 3 and 4 and some other stuff so i was wondering if any of this had taken place. he is going to radios this year. i know that for a fact. i was at his factory stocks rule meeting and he said that it was a must for a quicker and more together race night. i agree

Well as I have heard there are 2 new concession stands 1 Spectator side & 1 Pit side last year there was new above ground fuel tanks placed, there was rumor of air and electric to be installed in the pits off of each light pole no idea if that has been done yet, they are supposed to be stretching turns 3 & 4 out further towards the tree's at the north end, we had no rough turn 4 last year only time the track was rough was the 1st night after all the rain, the rest of the year was a pretty nice racing surface, Mark & crew have done great things to the facility and we appreciate all thier hard work, maybe sometime soon there will be a new sign installed there on the poles that are in place at the Highway so when fans and other racers come they can see the sign, but that is a minor detail as compared to all the other improvements they are doing, Meeker is not the Old Meeker that once was, so if anyone who has not been there come out and support what Mark & Debbie and the rest of the BMS crew are doing, and on another note yes radios will be used this year that was mentioned last year to try to help the racing move along better, see you all at BMS...

Danny, I hate to disagree with you buddy, but there was a couple of nights where turn 4 was pretty bad. Even as bad as it was, it was still better than it's been in the past. There was a point where I said (a few years ago) that I would never return to BMS because of the track surface. But now, it's my favorite place to race.
I'm glad they're going to radios. Does anyone know if it will be the same freq as SFS?

Well new news. The track in turns 3 and 4 have been moved out even farther. the track for the little sprint in the center has been improved and there are new light poles and lights going up around the track for better lighting. Dont know if it will be ready for the start of the season but Mark is trying his best. The new snack bar on the fans side will be close to ready if not done, but the pit side will most likely not be done, but will be soon after the start of season. There are many more improvements so you will just have to come out and see what we have to offer. The schedual will be up shortly so please keep checking BMS website for the release. Well thats about it and i m going crazy without the race season. And this stupid weather dont help either. Well i will see all of ya at the track of here on tidbits.
