Alltel is leaving it to the fans. Vote for Wayne to win a $12,000 sponsorship from Alltel. This is a very low budget team and $12,000 to them is like $1.2 million to some! They can use all the help they can get. http://www.alltelallstar.com/.

Steve and I were there to witness the win !! What an awesome sight !!! Shane (the announcer) was giving out prizes that night, and he chose me to try to win a t-shirt. (needless to say, I didn't pull out the correct golf ball) He asked where I was from (on the PA system) and I was proud to say KNOXVILLE !! When he asked who I wanted to say hello to........I was proud to say that we were there to support WAYNE JOHNSON !!! And guess what??? He won !!!! Very exciting !! Go WAYNE !!! Lasoski and Hefertepe Jr. didn't know what went by them !!!! Everyone should vote for Wayne !!

Lets all vote for Wayne as he is a driver well deserving of this financial help. I was listening to the last nights (thursday) web broadcast on Dirt and D Schatz brought this subject up in his victory interveiw, asking the fans to vote for him. I would think he has all the $$ help he needs.

Now, I voted for wayne, and I'm not a Schatz fan, but in Donnys defense he did not promote himself when asked by the interviewer to tell the people why they should vote for him. He said something more on the order of I just think it's great that a company would put up money for a contest like this for the racers. Support Alltel and thank them for what they are doing. Now that was a paraphrase, but I never heard him lobby for himself at all. Wayne made a similar speech when asked the same question in his victory lane interview.

Thanks Rogue-9, that is what I was referring to when I posted. OK this is a great deal for the racers and all I was actually referring to is lets VOTE for an under funded driver to receive the $$$

Maybe we can split that HoF Suite if you win this Alltel deal ! There is a first time for everything and we got a lot of firsts together. Whether these drivers are from the All Stars, Posse, WoO or West Coast, congrats on beating "The Best of the Best!"
