A set up does help a ton on lap times. Throw a 1025 bar in the left rear with a 1050 in the right front. Keep the gear at a 40 or a 50 & itl be a ton faster. Watch out,,, Sammy & Hannagan love to wear ya out at times. If yer really bored, crash the car, fix everything BUT the wings (leave em off) go nonwingin with the guys in the regional series. Its a bit of a challenge.

Your right polehuger, it is only a 1.50, but in reality, it actually is a 10.50 bar, bein an old crew guy Im used to doin what the actual bar is, instead of what the game calls it. My apologies.

what about the R rear & L front . if you had to work on 2 or 3 things for a dry slick track to get it to hook up what what would change thanks polehuger

Get rid of the stagger, don't tie down the left rear, run a lot gear and steer with the throttle. I also use a lot of rear weight and a lot of left weight and keep the car straight. I f you use this set up you can't throw sliders, you have to plan your passes, most of them will be about 1/3 of the way down the straightaways. You won't have much use for the cushion with this set up either, at Knoxville you will be 3 grooves lower than normal. If you stay focused you can lap the field in a 30 lap race on outlaw level.

Yeah. At Eldora i stayed sideways most of the time. I had a blast with this game until my EX-STEPSON hocked the PS2 for a boombox!

Can't remember my setups, but i do remember this-the right gear, and a neutral car with a light tendency for a push was part of the key. I think i did reduce the stagger too.

Dirt track racing will be the centerpiece of this new motorsports multiplayer online game.

NORMAN, OK, September 30, 2005 / Business Wire / DIRT MotorSports™ (DIRT) (OTCBB: BMSR) and Planetwide Games, Inc. have announced a licensing agreement to develop and publish a line of video games based on DIRT's national and regional touring dirt track series including the historic World of Outlaws Sprint Series®. These action motorsports racing titles will be powered by Planetwide Games' innovative online technology development engine for Multiplayer Online Games (MOG) for competition and a variety of console game formats to capture the exhilarating world of dirt track racing with the "Outlaws".

The World of Outlaws Sprint Series Video Game featuring the drivers of the Mean 15™ for 2006 is scheduled for as the first release first. This game will immerse the player into the excitement and drama of dirt track racing through the world of interactive entertainment. This interactive racing world will be complimented by the Multiplayer Online Game action and allow gamers the chance to simultaneously experience life in the driver's seat of the true dirt track racing culture of the World of Outlaws Sprint Series. These new games will advance the World of Outlaws past the levels previously achieved with the 2002 Playstation video game.

"We are extremely excited about the power of the World of Outlaws brand and their loyal fan base.," said Kevin Donovan - President of Planetwide Games. "Outlaws is a natural fit to showcase Planetwide Games' next generation video game reality engine. This engine will give the gamer the unique opportunity to experience game play that is truly the World of Outlaw Racing. Our reality engine will also allow the gamer to customize their sprint cars, view the race from the racers perspective, and experience dirt track racing from the starting line all the way to checkered flag directly from the driver's perspective. Through these motorsports games, new opportunities are abound with our global strategic partnerships, new channel partners and the potential for new in-game advertising in the World of Outlaws".

Online players will be able to test their skills as they create a customized sprint car designed to outperform and outlast the competition from local racers across the country and worldwide. Even drivers who smoke the track one weekend will still have to spend long hours in the garage to continue to stay on top of their game. With 28 years of hard-fought history behind it, this grass-roots "outlaw spirit" is what the success of the real-life touring series is based upon today.

Moran, that press release is about 3 years old I believe. I highly doubt that it's ever gonna happen. If you guys want an up to date sprint simulation you should purchase rfactor and then go to http://www.sbsracing.net/ and download the 2008 sprint. The game (rfactor) is a little bit rough on older computers but if you have a half way decent machine it's a blast. The 2008 sprint has winged 410's, 360's and nonwing 410's. There are also some New Zealander's that are working on a midget for the game and it should be released to the public within the next few months.

what is the set up your using? I am running 13.40's to 13.60's with all of the upgrades. Also when you want a maxim, dont waste $30,000 more. Just buy a Hawk and you can win features easily with it. I did it and I think the Hawks are better. and they look better cause they have hood scoops and not just 2 slots.

Also theres a new playstation 2 Sprint Car game coming out March 11th.

Its kinda like Road to Knoxville but it has more classes and better cars. It has Midgets, Non Wings, Stock Cars, Modifieds, Late Models, and Winged Sprint Cars. It features Tony Stewart's sprint car, Late Model, and Non Wing. I'm not sure about the Midget. and It has Shatz's Armor All car. There may be a couple of other like that.
