Anybody going to "the Big Chill" at Thunderbird Speedway in Crandall, Texas this weekend for the $2000 to win for modifieds? I am contemplating on going Saturday night. Gotta catch some racin.
Don't forget that next weekend is the "Fast 50" for modifieds at Cowtown Speedway in Kennedale. Of course, in a perfect world we would be at East Bay Raceway in Florida for the ASCoT opener.

Damn straight David.
Not only East Bay - But then the All-stars at Volusia - and then the WoO @ Volusia - and there some UMP races and stuff - probably a full 2 weeks worth of racin down there.
That Cowtown race sounds good - but mods like it dry and if the wind is blowin dust hard from the north right into the seats - I'd think if thats the case Bo Rawdon would keep lots of water on it - Hey David what are all the details of the TMS Dirt Track race here in bout a month. dates - start times - classes runnin - format maybe? also - anyone know of any area tracks runnin the weekend of March 7th?

On the schedule/results page there is a flyer link to the TMS deal. I think they all start at 6:00 PM.
I am keeping tabs and hitting the refresh button on Hoseheads LIVE for the East Bay ASCoT opener tonight (where Andy Shouse is the only okie there and made tonights feature) to get my racing fix.
I am seriously thinking about getting Dirtvisions $29.95 cybercast of everything from Florida starting next week. I think it is like February 5-12th or something like that. Nothing like LIVE internet feeds if you can't be there.

David,
I tried to stow-away in the motorhome, but Dad ran me out. All I could do was stand in the drive and wave as they made their way to Florida.

And they are both probably laughing and enjoying 70 degree weather while your here in the 20's and doing your own bit of sliding on the roads. They racing or just kicking back and vacationing?

There are others out there worse than him. He almost won a b last year in one of his few appearances and that's more than some people did that raced out there all year. He might not be the fastest out there but he holds his line and if he sees someone trying to pass him he lets them go.

who Earnest?
if the point of racing (aside from winning) is to go fast, be a good sport, and have a safe great time - then I can't think of many that have repped it better or longer than Earnest Jennings. Who has raced longer - Earnest or the Flying Dutchman?

I din't mean this to b an ass (4 once) I know he is having fun but with so many successful offspring just figured he would want to help/watch them and not put himself at risk. To each his own!!!!

I have to disagree with you on this one Larry. If Earnest has the will and want to, I will be the first one to push him off. I think it's great that Earnest is still out there competing.
Don't speak so loud, We'll be saying the same about you in the future. Just keep that in mind.
