With the IRA stating that over half of their 2008 races would be within 90 minutes of Milwaukee, what does that mean for our guys up north? I assume Travis Whitney will still attempt to do 100% or close to that of the schedule. John and Tim Sernett have seemed to back off their schedules in recent years, so does anybody know what their plans are? Jerry Richert Jr. & Bill Balog (ok, he's a cheesehead, but I still conisder him one of our northern boys) have been running a nice mixture of 410 and 360/unsanctioned shows for a couple years and wonder if some others will follow suite. As far as I know, Eagle Valley, Brainerd, and Arlington are not on the 2008 IRA schedule as of yet and Superior's spring date is in jeporady. We all know the economy is what it is and I understand why the IRA is making this move since most of their drivers are based from southern WI or IL. Can anybody shed any light on any of these drivers plans for this year? Thanks.

PS, does anybody remember Dale Johnson who ran 360 sprints at Cedar Lake in the 90's. Whatever happened to him?

The IRA schedule was updated recently.

Note that Arlington and Jim Falls have been added in July.

Thanks, I had not seen that. I guess there isn't much change then in the schedule from last season.
