When Lance Dewease joined Lisa & Donny Owens’ Catoctin Motorsports team at the end of 2007, he knew that the union would open up new roads in his career. In 2008, the team will travel those roads to find 113 races at 40 different tracks. This ultra-aggressive schedule will include the full All Star Circuit of Champions Series, 25 World of Outlaws events, and a flurry of non-sanctioned shows at the most competitive local tracks in the world.

The 30c team will begin 2008 in Florida with 10 races. In addition to Florida, and of course Pennsylvania, the 30c hauler will attend races in Mississippi, Texas, North Carolina, Nebraska, Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia, Maryland, Tennessee, Iowa, Kansas, Arkansas, Indiana, and even Ontario, Canada.

Dewease is very excited about the prospect of taking his show on the road. “Donny has given me the opportunity to travel a lot more, and I think that it will only make us stronger as a team. You can’t put a value on the information that you can gain by racing at different venues, and we’re going to have a great time racing against the best that the rest of the US has to offer, and racing at new tracks.”

Check out the tentative 2008 schedule at http://lancedewease.com today, and you can see why Lance and the 30c team are excited about the upcoming season.

Good Luck to LD and the whole 30c Team in '08!!!!

Great news, I truly wish them well and won't be surprised with their success. I totally respect those that challenge themselves against the best, it's what racers/athletes/etc.etc do. Most people/fans in the sport know where the proving ground is and it ain't runnin' local, Take It Easy....

Interesting that the All Star schedule prevents him from running a few Williams Grove WoO races.

hedging your bets / predictions is what we all expect from north of the border!

Ironic that Lance will travel to more races this year than nearly every driver in the country...and Canada for that matter.

Gee, classy post. It's no wonder this message board is nowhere near what it was six or seven years ago. Always someone on here looking to take a cheap shot or be a smart ass.

Just curious - which are you? The former, or the latter....

Somewhat off topic here, if that schedule is correct then it means that the spring nationals is now only a one day show. I hope that isn't true.

Not true....only one day for Lance since he is running the full All-Star schedule. With that, it only will permit him to be there for one night.

...if you are refering to the Attica Spring Nationals, it's probably true...I have heard through the grapevine that Attica will no longer be running two day events...not sure if this is true or not, but I have heard that more then once this off season...

...back to the subject...AWESOME news !...best of luck to Lance and his team...the 2008 All Star season is looking better and better every day...

...thank you posse for lending the All Stars one of your best...if it's not too much to ask can we also please get Mr. Montieth to Eldora at least once this year ?...that would be a sight to see...I am willing to chip in for tow money...

The spring nationals has always been a 2 day allstar show Skinner. I'm talking about the coors spring nationals that is ran at attica. I probably should have been more specific.

Hate to lose someone that good from the weekly PA shows, but MSPN is right, the greats relish the challenge. Lance is in the top-tier of the PA drivers and really, what does he have to prove running just local shows in PA (has already won at every track against everyone local and every visiting sanction). The All-Stars seem to be in a bit of resurgence this year with some big names coming in and more rumored. Best of luck in 08' to Lance with the All-Stars and Lucas with the WoO, couldn't ask for better Posse representation on either side!

MSPN is right? Holy cow, everybody take cover! JK

I agree with the majority, it will be awesome seeing Lance run with the All Stars this year. More prize money available in PA, could be good for the car counts!

Haha, I know, I know....I hardly ever post, but I read this board a lot and I gave him his due this time. One thing I always noticed, whether you're from PA, IN, IA, OK, CA, etc..., everyones hometown has the best drivers. I'm just glad a couple of our guys are finally headed out to prove themselves elsewhere, and I couldn't be happier about the two that chose!

glad to just be able to see some new cars, we don't normally get to see here in OH.

Welcome aboard Lance & Team

Maybe he'll be able to entice a few more to travel the roads, or bridge the OH/PA wall and take some back to PA on off weekends, sounds good all around to me.

Great to learn that Lance is joining the circuit. It'll be especially interesting to see him and Wilson go at it on the short tracks. Definitely a boost for the All Stars.

Got to see Montieth at the Port & Grove last summer, and I too am convinced that this guy is the real deal. Would definitely be great to see him at Eldora or Attica.
