I would like to be the first to thank Perris Auto Speedway for re-visiting and re-thinking the rules for this event. I would also like to be the first to say that I think that this race will be a great success and an asset to 360 sprint cars

Sincerely

Kevin Kierce

In a turn of events that will surely make Mr New-Parts' heart race, these rules still have enough holes to run a truck through. While I'm fairly sure they wouldn't really let you race with it, there's nothing in these rules to prevent someone from showing up with a steel 500ci 23 degree headed smallblock with a blower plus nitro and a wing on top. Yes, the race is listed as a "360 Non Wing Sprint Car Race" but there's nothing in the rules list about engine size or wings.

I really didn't want to post on this subject but just couldn't resist the chance to poke the beast.

Still racing with the 410's. Only 20 cars in the A main all together. It could be possible that no 360's make the A main at all. So who would the 360 mythical "Championship" go to????

If they had just said VRA rule book with the following exceptions, everything would have been just fine.

That's the way I read it too....conjuction, "the act of conjoining; combination." It can't be though, right?

What is the pay out for Friday. It states $2000 to win and ONLY $150 to start on Saturday (full field only), but it does not state what the payout is for Friday's complete show. Is it $25, $50, $150 or nothing at all. This race could be a good one if they were going about it the right way. Hoever, it seems to disorginized for it to work. I agree with the poster above, just say VRA rules. They can change a couple to suite their needs, but the current rules are a joke. Please Perris, put a little more thought into this one!!!!

I too would like to know what the entire purse is.

What does it pay for non transfer cars?

What does it pay for the friday show?

I emailed the contact listed and have not received a response.

As for the rules, I think with common sense the rules are fine. If you make it VRA rules it will eliminate Arizona guys that have ASCS heads or anybody that has ASCS heads.

km76,go to Perris Auto Speedway's web page-special events -full pay-out is listed....seems fair to me,but they drug this out to long for my taste, they change the rules at their own whim to often.I still think the 360 guys need to form an organization and work with a track so things can be worked out to all parties benifit.I'll just sit this one out,but Good Luck to those who choose to participate. It could be fun!
