It seems to me inevitable that the ASCS will soon move in on the 360 scene here. Will that be a good thing? I just became aware of their huge size nationwide. Would it not be a good idea to combine all the different groups under one set of rules so anybody could race at whatever track they would like. Is not Perris's move the opening wedge to get the ASCS into our area? I love 360's at Ventura but not at Perris, but 360's seem to be the fastest growing part of sprint car racing. Though not a fan of 360's aat Perris, I would go there if they ran a 360 show combined with dirt modified. Dirt modifieds are also growing like topsy and I think they put on a good show at Ventura, and enjoyed them at Perris.

The marketing stratagy at Ventura seems to be based on keeping the teams and drivers they in the fold. Mr. Naylor has worked hard to build up a large and consistant car count. With that in mind, I don't see Ventura changing anything soon. Racing here isn't like racing in Indiana where they race many nights other than Saturday. For that reason, I don't think that going to ASCS woulld change much.

harryfan,
You are correct, If Mr. Naylor or Swindel where to go with ASCS they would have to give (ASCS) money above and beyond the purse that they pay now. That aint gonna happen!!!
