He and Silva are just ridiculously tough to beat. And I'm not a big Larson fan (anymore) but massive respect for the greatest sprint car driver of this generation. I think if he started 10th or so last night, he still would have won it.
Logan S, Brent Marks and Tanner Holmes all impressive with their drives from the back

So many things can happen as We seen at FRC where Kyle broke a rear end or tires can go down but kyle was very fast but give Haud Casey or David the lead and they are tough to beat. In the format He won pole on his preliminary night so we will never know. For $200K the show was passing lapped cars which was 1/2 the field. Knoxville did everything possible to get race in and most fans had to be happy. Kasey and Haud were good but Kyle was better. Tanner put on a show and but if you dont win that gets lost .

Didn't Kyle start 10th last year? Don't remember that for sure, but do remember he got up to around 4th and then fell back some before blowing a tire. He didn't have anything for Timms last year. For this year Timms was stout before he had the bad luck. Start Timms on the pole this year and he would have been just as tough I think. Having clean air until hitting lapped traffic is obvious a huge factor, then you also have clean air on restarts.

No. I don't think he wins it at all on that wet, heavy track. Maybe 3rd-5th if he's really fast. I know some cars came from the back to midpack, and there were some cars that advanced there, but a lot was related to attrition too. With a track like that, Larson was good enough to get out in clean air and sail. With a track like that Sheldon would have gotten out in clean air and sailed. With a track like that Gravel would have gotten out in clean air and sailed. So would Logan. And so on. Even Kasey had a shot if Larson starts 10th and he started on the pole.
Qualifying (not just the 2 lap qualifying, but the entire qualifying package) is important!

the guy is one in multiple generations to be a new superman. like when the nascar trucks first race at Eldora, twice he went to the back in the 100 lapper and won it while beating and banginw with Bell. TWICE to the back...
Ascot was the greatest of all time..
West Capital wasn't half bad either..
Life is good...

Yeah it's fun just to speculate and talk about different scenarios
Tanner Holmes went like, what, 24th to 11th on that track. Pretty impressive
