Wife and I will be travling thorugh eastern South Dakota at just the right time to hit Husets on a Sunday evening. I've done Eldora and Knoxville. Looking for a different track to experience.
Questions:
1. Where to sit? Generally I'm a turn 4 guy at Skagit. Sit in the back row. Bring my own comfortable stadium seats that have a supportive back. What's the story in Brandon. Should I bring those with me? Not necessary? What's the scoop on the loser suite level and the rooftop? I'm not a loud guy and don't drink much. Not looking for a party.
2. Any particular place to eat in Brandon? I see they have a golf course, so will probably get in 18 before the races.
3, Necessary to get advance tickets? Thinking we will hit a regular show on July 26.
Open any other suggestions.

First off, there are no bad seats. But the grandstands are probably the most rows of any dirt track anywhere. 54 is a number I was remembering for some reason? I'm guessing someone can confirm how many actual rows there are.
So it really becomes a function of how close or far you want to be from the action.
For me, I prefer the lower section (the concourse separates lower and higher sections), near the flagstand and maybe a couple rows down. It feels really 'in your face' and I like that aspect.
Just like any new track I go to, I arrive early and sit in several spots, then pick one from that experiment.
Also it depends if you need services often - such as food, beer, bathroom...scope out those seating locations based on that aspect as well.
But the Sioux Falls area is a great place for going out to eat, lots of great options based on your tastes.
And I've often found Hotwire.com is a good resource for great deals on rooms. Basically everything in the area is within about 15 minutes of the track, so many times you can get decent rooms by the airport, for example.
The Holiday Inn Express is a nice and convenient place to stay in Brandon. And they've supported the track/racers over the years.
You'll enjoy your visit to the track and area.

This is my 43rd season of going to Husets. You'd have a difficult time finding a bad seat in the house. I like to sit up high above the #4 corne. You can see the whole track and get a feel of how different drivers run the corners. A regular show won't be sold out so you don't need to buy in advance.
Brandon has about a dozen places to eat if you include fast food. Two excellent restaurants I like are The Gruff and El Tapatio.
Random thoughts:
Bring goggles and ear protection.
The bleachers are aluminum with backs from a stadium in Washington (?)
Go in the pits afterward
Buy a 50/50 ticket for a buck.
Park on the north side.

After Chuckys attempt to be a race track promoter and threats to bulldoze it and all the improvements down with Todd taking over and one of the best facilities even with Mother Nature making it challenging . Todds Big Game business made it possible and racing is doing well. Dont know if its profitable but sure nice. The Boone Speedway hosting over 1000 cars in a week is one of the most profitable races in America one reason is the back gate. Race promoting isnt for everybody. Streaming increases number of views but doesnt sell any beer or hotdogs. The WOO has a good following but with HL some of the higher purses payed on poorly attended shows I question the profiability. Flo has to be a big player as Brad and Kyle are not in this to lose money.Sprint car racing is doing well but not cheap for owners and hard to survive if not in top 10 or better everynight. That why some lower tier teams are commited to either series for point fund and guaranteed show up money,More than a few travelers arent as good as top 10/ 15 at Knoxville or Hussets

I tried this back in 2017 or so. ??? Had my campground stay setup on a Sunday night in Souix Falls on the way out to visit Husets (Badlands) , and Jackson on Friday night on the way back to visit Jackson Motorplex. But, Chucky had other plans that year, so we didn't get to visit.
I need to make this trip again!

If you want to golf, get your tee time early - Brandon's golf course can fill up for the day on a weekend pretty quickly. It is a fun course.
I'll add a few more places to eat to the list. 212 in right in Brandon and Red Rock Bar and Grill is a couple miles south of the track, supports a lot of racers and is owned by a former sprint car driver. Both are open after the races too.
I don't think you'll need or want to bring a chair in. All seats at Huset's have a backrest. They're actually from Daytona's backstretch. The seats Murphy is referencing was a section of red-backed seats installed in 2001 and removed after 2015. Those were from the Kingdome in Seattle.
And Murphy, the ear protection is for the cars, not the announcer -- right?
And as I always say, when Brandon's speed limit sign says 30, they mean 29.
