After timing around 20 on a slowed down track Rico sailed thru his heat .Drew an 8 in dash and come feature time except contact with wall He drove thru the field. Fun to watch passing!

Absolute crickets from the fanboys that were so mouthy a few weeks ago. Wonder why that is? There is a better chance of spotting Amelia Earhart or Jimmy Hoffa than finding one of the fanboys discussing last night's results. The fanboys have crawled back into their holes to hide.

Probably because if Rico was running for points against Gravel and Buddy, he'd already be 200 pts behind due to inconsistency this year....so, no real need to comment...

I dunno. I'd say Rico is probably consistent enough to run top 3 in H-L points right now.

100% correct. He would not, however, with the incredibly inconsistent start to 2026, be within 200 points of the top 3 in the Outlaws at this point. He's a badass. But he's had noweher near the consistency to finish 2026 top-3 in Outlaw points if he ran there. I got some shit from one of my good friends after the feature on Friday night. He knows I think the Outlaw field is a bit tougher than the HL field this year. He started poking at me--asking where my Outlaws were at. I sent him a picture back of me, sitting on the couch, with my Rico shirt on!
It's not a popularity contest when I state my opinion. Just being a realist. Would I rather see Rico win than David, Carson, or Buddy? Hell yes I would! Am I realistic enough to know he's not at David or Buddy's level, and possibly not at Macedo's level either right now? Ya, I am.
