where any of you surprised that Kofoid didn't put a new power plant in and run the B main...if your towing that far i would think he would want as much data that he could get.

I agree 100% but whe you have Dennis Roth footing the bill (sold beef packers for $600,000,000.) many years ago I guess the decision is not always what we expect right?
Ascot was the greatest of all time..
West Capital wasn't half bad either..

The team owner has enough pennies to see him through. You'd think if thngs were that tight, Roth would have had the team stay home and not run for a smaller purse than a WoO race.

It was obviously in the budget to make the trip, get some laps, and make a run at it. Doing the math for the rest of the night, unless they thought they could get some valuable intel, it made no sense to run. I don't blame them. They had no skin in the game for points money.
