BERGMAN & GOSSEL JOIN ‘INVADERS’ vs POWRi 410’s; TODAY FINAL BONUS $ REG’N DAY for BIG O SPEEDWAY APRIL 24-25!
Ennis TX, by DarinShort.com (4/20/26). The POWRi Honest Abe Roofing 410 Outlaw Sprints National Series and the American Racer Modified Series (ARMS) will put on a pair of season-opening doubleheader events at the Big O Speedway in Ennis Texas on April 24-25 with the running of the Bluebonnet Showdown!
And today, Seth Bergman and Austyn Gossel have added their names to the previously released list of ‘Invaders’ who will all be eligible for the special nightly ‘Invaders Bonus’ for the sprint car division...and registration for the bonus ends tonight, Monday night, April 20.
To become a qualified sprint car ‘Invader’ for this event, it’s a very simple process and it’s free: simply email Talin at [email protected] with your intent to race in this event by the close of business, today, Monday, April 20th to be eligible. Please submit your driver’s name, car number, address and contact info when emailing Talin. (If you don’t register, you can still compete in the event, you just won’t be eligible for the bonuses...so if you know you are coming, get registered today!)
There are 17 POWRi national touring drivers (listed below) and the Invaders Bonus will be open to all registered sprint car drivers that choose to race at this event that are not part of the POWRi national tour...so in effect, it will create a race within a race.
The ‘Invader’ bonus will be paid nightly, $500 to the highest finishing registered Invading driver – unless that Invading driver wins the A-feature, and then the bonus becomes $1,000 nightly! ranslated, the Friday A-feature pays $5,000 to win, and then it bumps up to $7,000 to win on Saturday. If a registered Invading driver happens to win both nights, they’ll take home a $14,000 weekend haul!
Here was the first round of ‘Invaders’ that were announced last week and have registered to compete in this event: Weston Gorham, Marcus Thomas, Austin Mundie, Carson Bolden, John Carney II, Preston Perlmutter, Christopher Townsend, Claud Estes III and Charlie Harmon. The ‘Invading’ drivers will be joining the 17 POWRi national tour drivers at this event.
Race fans can expect the following POWRi touring series 410 sprint drivers from nine states: Ayrton Gennetten, Joe B Miller, Scotty Milan, Landon Crawley, Blake Hahn, Ryder McCutcheon, Rodney Huband, Miles Paulus, Colton Fisher, Xavier Doney, Natalie Doney, John Barnard, Roger Crockett, Gage Montgomery, Kameron Key, Jack Potter and Jason Martin. Plus, a strong contingent of local and regional invaders will round out the field. They will all be vying for the $5,000 first place prize on Friday night and $7,000 winner’s share on Saturday night.
Each night will be a full points event for both touring series atop the 5/16th mile banked dirt track located just about six miles east of Ennis, TX (which is just south of the DFW Metroplex off of I-45). Limited Modifieds will round out the nightly racing card.
In what will be the opening round of 2026 events for the ground pounding American Racer Modified Series, it will include a large contingent of Series and regional drivers, such as Kale Westover, Sean Gaddis, Kenny Gaddis, Manuel Williams, Joe Duvall, Matthew Day, Cody Duke, Jason Hughes, Jamie Burford, Tyler Davis, Dustin Hyde, Dillon Pike, Chris Henigan, Jason Langford, Chase Hatton, Tyler Wolff and Jason Ingalls.
