I don't know what the total purse was last night for the High Limit show, but I know that it paid 50k to win and only had 25 cars

Doesn't this just help make the top 3,4 teams? ... Why not spread it out more, making it decent money just to make A main

I agree larger purses should increase all position payouts.

I think a high 1st place brings fans while increasing the money to start brings cars.

The 1st place payouts have been enough on the HL web page all season.

The purse breakdown is on the High Limit website.  They have a set payout for all position based on the size of the purse for that event.  The last few cars last night were each paid $2,000.  I suspect none of those 3 drivers, who were all local, had ever won $2,000.  Not many 410's in Texas, I think I counted 5 local cars.

Bingo!   When it comes to sprint car racing Texas sucks.   It hasn't been good for probably 40 years.    With ASCS running up in Tulsa that didn't help.
